Rosedale Celebrates World Read Aloud Day

February 19, 2020 - Rosedale Elementary held a special event on Weds., Feb. 5 in honor of World Read Aloud Day inviting community supporters, including HSD School Board Member Jaci Spross and popular children's book favorite, Clifford the Big Red Dog, to read one-on-one with children in the SMART Reading program.

World Read Aloud Day is a challenge to get 10,000 Oregonians taking a Reading Matters pledge and committing to reading aloud with a child that day and/or spreading the word. More info and the pledge is here on their website: www.SMARTreading.org/world-read-aloud-day.
